As the boys from Midlands Children's Hope Centre sit their end of your examinations this week, they are thankful to Staben, the ALERT Education Centre teacher, who has assisted them throughout the term with their homework and studies.
Siphosenkosi (16yo): "Staben has helped me with maths, English, Shona, science, and social studies homework. He is teaching me to have a good future and to improve me with my life and to get good respect when you are talking with others. Staben is encouraging me to have a good life. Staben was a good teacher and encouraging me to improve my writing and teaches us to get good school results. When I came to the home I couldn't read and write but Staben encouraged me. He teached me mathematics and it is my best subject."
Edson (13yo) - "I am not a English speaker but I speak little. I was helped by Sir Staben before I wrote exams. The subject which I was not good at was English because of the tenses, verbs and vocabulary. I thank you Sir Staben for your help and now I am better at English. Thank you for spending time with us, you must come and see my report card at the end of term."
Justin (12yo) - "I want to thank Mr Staben for his revision teaching has helped me with. Mr Staben helped me with my English and Maths at home. I am now good at English and Maths - no one can conquer me at these subjects. May God Bless him."
Good luck to all the boys at the orphanage during their exams.
