The ALERT Membership Program

By becoming a Member of the ALERT program you are directly helping us to achieve our goal of securing a future for the African lion, as well as for a diversity of African wildlife and ecosystems in partnership with local communities.

The African lion is a keystone species; instantly recognisable and revered around the world. By making the lion an ambassador for all of Africa’s wildlife, ALERT aims not just to create a future for the lion, but for lesser appreciated species and the people who live along side them. By becoming a Member, you are an ambassador for ALERT, the lion and all of Africa’s wildlife.

How your donation helps…

Being an ALERT member is much more than just a name. The money that you contribute goes directly into a range of programs from helping us to provide protection to lion populations, securing suitable release sites, various research programs and community development projects.

If you are joining as a gift for someone please also send an email to pride@lionalert.org to let us know the gift recipient’s full name, mailing address, correspondence email address, date which you would like their membership to start and finally, the purpose of the gift (e.g. birthday)
